Georg Arssenij Bochow

Georg Arssenij Bochow - Countertenor

The half German / half Russian countertenor Georg Arssenij Bochow began his successful career as a boy soloist at the Staats- und Domchor in Berlin and received the Saint Nicolas Award of the Royal School of Church Music when he lived in Canada.
Over the course of his voice change Georg A. Bochow never stopped singing in the range of his boy voice and thereby came to be a countertenor in Stuttgart.
Since the beginning of his studies at the Conservatory of Music Hanns Eisler in Berlin in 2011, various masterclasses have complemented his work. But the old must be enriched by the new and vice versa – and therefore Georg A. Bochow could recently be seen at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the world premiere of Evan Gardners "Die Unterhändlerin" as part of the NEW SCENES.
